it happens every year.
I wait for this season, the presents, the happy, the tree and more.
But just as often, I'm reminded each year that it's not all i hoped it would be.
By two o'clock, they're all gone.
I'm sitting in bed doing just what i did everyday for the past few months.
So I'm in new sweatpants, and there's something new when i look up,
But it's nothing different, and because of that, it's worse.

That's definitely how I feel after Christmas. It's anti-climactic. Maybe if we focus more on its true reason, we'll realize that never fades and thus Christmas never becomes an anticlimactic event. Just a thought.
