to kindle the dim.

everyone in the world has a candle. whether the effects are good or bad, you have a candle. what you do with it determines who you are. what are you recognized for? my whole life I've been splashing myself with buckets of water, dimming myself of opportunities to be something. I'm sure that i'm not the only one who needs some flames. sometimes when i look outside, its like a fallen star's wasteland, full of white dwarfs and black holes. too many times i regret that i wasted my time regretting. i spin in circles and the path is too common to me. i dont want to remain nocturnal, and being crepuscular isn't enough anymore! i long to be a plant, so rain is a wonderland and my source of life comes from lightyears away, the sun. i would grow big and pleantiful, i would produce my own nurishment. and then when i die and begin to wilt, my remains will fertilize the earth and from that, others will grow. the excitement i strive for doesn's exist in dimsdale. i dont wait for the crimson chin to swoop down and save the red-head who fell in the train tracks. instead i live to prepare his arrival. i would think you've all heard of Rachel's Challenge. but this is a new rachels challenge. its my turn to throw down the gauntlet. kindle the dim. set fire and let it burn. no, better yet, watch it burn. be the cause of this "burning" everyday. no i dont actually mean to go burn down buildings, but start a fire in your mind and never ever splash it with water again, let it spread to the heart, the hands and the others. i think whenever we scream, it should be what we want people to hear. scream as if the world can hear you, because if its inspired by fire, it will spread.
forest to forest, day to day, hand in hand, kindle the dim.
